If your nexus application was rejected or your membership has been revoked you can request an appeal either online or in writing within ninety (90) days from the date of rejection. Some persons get a refusal in person or via a notice sent in the mail. You must pay attention to the date on the document as that is when time starts to run for the written notification. The ninety (90) day period begins to run immediately when you are notified in person. Your request for review must be submitted to the Canada Border Services Agency’s Recourse Directorate.
If your nexus card was seized, you must act quickly and request a ministerial review of the seizure within ninety (90) days of the date printed on your seizure receipt.
Some persons are also found inadmissible to enter the United States of America and if you are barred from entering the country on the basis of your admission of previous use of marijuana, you can apply to the United States Border Control through an application for advance permission to enter the United States of America often called an I-192 waiver.
